MM Tip # 25 - How do you Share, Give & Inspire Through your Blog?

19May

Do you have a blog?

Have you published a blog this week?

Do you wonder why writing a blog is so challenging?

Did you know that it is all about your "Why"?

As I have worked with clients to help them with LinkedIn and their online marketing presence, I have noticed something significant.

I would spend "X" number of hours with each client teaching them what to do to use LinkedIn and how to use a blog to create the know, like and trust they need and want for their business.

We would review and rehearse the step-by-step processes needed to accomplish their desired results. They learned how to do everything for themselves. That was the way they wanted it.

Then I would watch for their posts to come through the "Pulse" on LinkedIn. Or for their blog to show up on my Facebook. Or to find one of their blogs on Twitter and Instagram. I waited and waited and searched. What I discovered was appalling to me.

I discovered that most of my clients were not blogging!

It was at this time that I had a "light bulb" moment.

If these people are not blogging, then they must be stuck! I realized that there were more hidden blocks than I had realized. These people needed not only the "hows, wheres and why-fors". They also needed some help getting started!

So this is when I started offering to help with writing blogs. Writing blogs is a fun and simple process for me, so why not help others with their blogs?

Here are the two key ingredients needed for a great blog:

  1. You need to know your "Why". Once you know your "Why", your world suddenly opens and you gain inspiration about all the topics you can write about.
  2. Share, Give, & Inspire. Through your blog you can help others to find relief from their stresses that you can help eradicate. You can educate and inform your audience. It is not all about you. It is about them. This is not a time for you to pitch your stuff.

If you are worth $125 / hr, I can save you $75 by helping you find your "Why" and share, give and inspire through your blog.

Make it a great day!
